Sober- a change of life perspective

Slash is a person whose life motto consists of the "do things my way". When Slash got sober he started to see things differently. Different in the aspect of once he was sober, his girlfriend did not have the same importance. From a personal point of view Slash had an awakening time after he stopped drinking. Once he realized his relationship was "time- consuming" he eventually understood other factors in his life where not functioning. Obviously he felt bad for his girlfriend, but that did not stop him from doing what he has always done; prioritize his own interest and his well being before anything else. Furthermore he mentions how he decided to focus on music and get himself together.
In conclusion Slash decided to quit drinking, end unhealthy relationships and focus on his career and happiness. As Slash expresses in his autobiography; "Do things my way", he is determined to follow his own principles in his life.

  1. I actually quite like this for its brevity and insight. Never use 'in conclusion'. There is insufficient evidence. Be careful to be accurate. I would question whether it was an unhealthy relationship per se. The relationship was unhealthy because at least one party to it was physically, emotionally and mentally unhealthy which probably caused the whole relationship to be unhealthy at least from Slash's point of view. Of course, if one person in the relationship is unhealthy, how can the relationship as a whole be healthy.....
